Some sing the praises of the Divine, visualizing Him everywhere
Many try to describe the Divine's virtues, but there is no end to them.
Many try to describe the Divine's virtues, but there is no end to them.
Even though millions have tried to describe His virtues millions of times, there is still no end to them.
The benevolent Divine continues to give, while those who receive grow weary of receiving.
All creatures have been consuming His gifts throughout the ages, but still, there is no end to them.
By His command, the Divine, the great commander, is running the universe on a specific path. O’ Nanak, the Divine is always blissful and carefree.
The Divine is eternal and so is His justice; Love is His language and He is infinite.
We beg of Him for more and more, and the benevolent Divine keeps on giving.
What should we offer Him to be blessed with His presence?
To evoke His love, what prayer can we do?
In the ambrosial hours, recite the True Name and contemplate His glorious virtues.
The human body is obtained through His love and blessings but the liberation from vices is attained through His grace as one walks on the Divine path.
O’ Nanak, in this way, we realize that the eternal Divine is all-pervading.
The Divine cannot be established (confined) or created.
He is pure and free from all vices.

Even if I realize the Divine, I will not be able to describe that feeling of bliss, as it cannot be put into words.
O’ my Guru, please grant me this wisdom that:
I may never forget the Divine, the only provider for all living beings.
I would bathe at pilgrimage sites only if it pleases the Divine.
Without pleasing Him, what is the use of such ritualistic bathing?
When I look at the entire world created by Him, I realize that nothing can be obtained without His blessing.

However, without the Divine grace, that person is spiritually dead.
